“Gurus Jake and Daniel are very knowledgeable, kind, and understanding. They offer multiple courses of learning from self defense or competition/ artistic to yoga/ breathing & meditation/ internal work. The art they teach, Inti Ombak Pencak Silat is effective, beautiful, and can accommodate many different body types. It incorporates empty hand techniques as well as weapon applications. NCMA is the headquarters for the United States Sport Silat Association and the team is working on getting this sport to The Olympics! I recommend to everyone stopping in for at least a trial class!”

motox6282023-10-08Jake is fantastic! The classes are great, he is awesome with the kids and challenges them to push themselves to be better. We have a boy in the 5 and under group who is excited for every class and is learning tons of practical skills and movement.
Tim Lancaster2023-10-07Our sons love going here! Jake is a fantastic teacher with lots of knowledge that he willingly shares with his students. He promotes a fun environment with a mix of basic, fundamental skills but also keeps kids engaged with games or unique drills. It’s a martial arts class and can sometimes get physical, especially if students are choosing to be disruptive or disrespectful. He is a strong, fatherly figure and a great mentor for our young boys. I would highly encourage anyone to try out his classes, you can always just stop going if you don’t like it! The police won’t force you to keep going or anything, even though they also endorse how Jake teaches!

I’ve learned a lot about the art and myself as a result of joining. It also opened a once in a lifetime opportunity for me in Indonesia which I wouldn’t trade for anything. I recommend it to my best friends and family any chance I get.
